Events/Meetings for the 2008-2009 year:
Saturday, September 20, 1:00 to 4:00, Buncombe County Women’s Agenda session at the YWCA. The meeting is held by the North Carolina Women United, a consensus-based coalition of organizations committed to achieving full equality and empowerment for women. This session is a great opportunity to make sure the NC legislature is informed on issues of interest to AAUW: advancing equity for all women and girls through advocacy, education and research.
